The Green School Bangalore Ranked No. 1 in India’s National Green School Ranking 2025


Bangalore, October 6, 2025: The Green School Bangalore (TGSB) has secured the 1st Rank in India with a perfect score of 100/100 in the prestigious National Green School Ranking 2025, announced by Green Mentors on World Environment Day.

The award was presented at the 9th NYC Green School Conference, hosted at the ILR School, Cornell University, New York, on September 23–24, 2025, coinciding with the 80th United Nations General Assembly and Climate Week NYC.

This recognition honors TGSB’s exemplary sustainability practices across the Eight Sustainability Pillars—from Green Curriculum and Biodiversity Conservation to Water Management, Energy Efficiency, and Innovation.

Ms. Usha Iyer, Founder and Principal of The Green School Bangalore, says:
